Mitt Romney

If conservative, white, Christian Republicans turn into little Judases and go against their Christian faith, which should be most dear to them, and throw their support behind the false Mormon minister, Mitt Romney, to so call “take our nation back”, whether they do it publicly or privately, will appear as racist to many Blacks and Latinos.

Whether it is justified or not, the Republican Party will certainly appear to be a racist party by many of them for years to come. If Blacks and Latinos get the perception that the Republican party is a racist party, Republicans will lose the chance of a lifetime to get many Blacks and Latinos to join with them to take America into a more Godly direction. If this happens, conservative Republicans will lose the chance of winning the presidency or Congress, for that matter, and we will see the country destroyed faster than it is going now with liberal and anti-God policies.

Now the truth of the matter is, Mitt Romney could not be hired as a janitor at Samaritan’s Purse or Bob Jones University, not only because he is a Mormon, but more importantly, because he is a master liar and a flip-flopper on major issues such as abortion and homosexual marriage, which makes him doubly untrustworthy. Yet, the head of Samaritan’s Purse (which, by the way, I financially support, and will continue to support), Franklin Graham, and Bob Jones III, who already struggles with a terrible racist image, are not only supporting him for the most powerful position in the world – the Presidency of the United States–but are encouraging other Christians to do so as well. This is truly a sad day in America. Talk about the apostasy of the church before the second coming of Christ, well there you go.

IT IS NOT THE ECONOMY, STUPID, IT IS THE SPIRITUAL CONDITION OF THE NATION

I thought we all, as Christians, agreed that the real problem in America is spiritual, not economical. I thought we understood from biblical history that if we get our spiritual house in order, that the economy and everything else would take care of itself. Please tell me, how can we get our spiritual house in order if we elect a false Mormon prophet who believes that Jesus Christ and the devil are brothers and who is a master liar and flip-flopper on such key issues as abortion and homosexual marriage? We all know that the best indicator of what someone is going to do in the future is what they did in the past. And, by the way, whatever happened to the verses that we all used to quote below:

Proverbs 29:2: When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Proverbs 14:34: Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

Recently, Robert Jeffress called Mitt Romney the “lesser of two evils” when matched up against Barack Obama. Well, my friend, you had better examine your heart and make sure that Mitt is not the “lesser of two evils” simply because he is white and Barack Obama is black, because most blacks and most Latinos see Barack Obama as the “lesser of two evils.” Frankly, I see both Romney and Obama as evil as hell itself, simply because of their awful track record on the subjects of homosexual marriage and abortion.

Therefore, my conservative, white, Christian Republican brothers, there is only one solution if you want to be faithful and consistent, and that is we pick one of the other candidates who claim to be Christians and who has a positive track record on homosexual marriage and abortion, and then pray and trust God for the best whether they win or lose.

Let me remind you that the late Jerry Falwell, Sr., always led from the front; he never led from the rear. Falwell led Christians and those of other faiths, including Mormons, in the direction of what was morally right for the nation. If you try to lead from the rear by trying to put this ungodly, unprincipled, wicked, Mormon minister in the White House, it will be very sad for America for many years to come.

TIME: So You Like Me Now?

The pundits and news anchors are constantly reminding us that there are a lot of people among conservatives and republicans who just don’t like Rev. Mitt Romney. And I am shocked that these people act like they don’t know why they don’t like Mitt. By the way, it is not because he is a Mormon. They love all Mormons just like they love all homosexuals and pray for them to get saved. Here are the three simple reasons why many people do not like Rev. Mitt Romney:

Rev. Mitt Romney is a liar and cannot be trusted for anything, much less to be the president of the United States.

Rev. Mitt is an outrageous flip-flopper who obviously has no convictions about anything, and will do and say anything to get elected.

Rev. Romney is clearly not a sincere person. He is not likeable because he does not genuinely like people, especially people who are not in his comfort zone. It is truly a sad sight to behold!

It is amazing how that, people like Bob Jones III and Franklin Graham, are supporting this clown and promoting him to other Christians when, in fact, based upon his lying, flip-flopping background neither one of them would have this liar to work in their organizations – Bob Jones University and Samaritan’s Purse, respectively. They would not allow him to work for them simply because you cannot work with somebody you cannot trust and who does not have the same values.

They still don’t like you Rev. Mitt because generally speaking, people don’t like bad people.

Republicans better think long and hard about this if they ever want to get blacks to join their ranks.

White Republicans may be smart, but are they wise? I am amazed and saddened at leaders such as Franklin Graham and Bob Jones III, who are trying to encourage Christians to support a Mormon elder for the presidency of the United States of America, saying that things would be better under Romney than Obama. So we are going to replace an incompetent devil with a lying devil? That’s not going to work.

Here are some new reasons and some old reasons why black Christians will not vote for Mitt Romney:

1. A vote for Romney would be a Judas type betrayal of Christ. Rev. Romney is not only a member of the Mormon church, he is an elder who actually helps to lead a congregation.

2. Rev. Romney is a flip-flopping liar with no backbone whatsoever. Romney is a fake. He is not authentic. He is insincere. Black people can spot a fake white man who is trying to fit in in a hot second. And nothing turns them off more than this.

3. Mitt Romney’s cult religion does not promote a healthy relationship between blacks and whites.

Below are some other reasons that I wrote about in a previous article titled “Note to Our Dear White Conservative Christian Brethren” that ran on November 14, 2011:

Please know that black, conservative Christian people and the 15% to 30% of Obama supporters who would like to jump ship because of their disappointment with Obama, will not “hold our noses” and vote for Mitt Romney.

The truth is, we would rather have a picnic with Perry on his controversial hunting ranch, with him forgetting the potato salad than to vote for Romney. We would rather attend a conference on how to stop sexual harassment with Cain than to vote for Romney because at least these two sinful, imperfect brothers profess to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, and that makes all the difference. Hell would freeze over before we vote for the lying, flip-flopping Mormon cultist Mitt Romney, and we are flabbergasted as to how our conservative Christian white brethren, such as Bob Jones III and others would not only support this guy but are actually promoting this guy to other Christians to vote for him to be president of the United States.

Every election year, “conservative” political candidates court Christian voters. They ask for our time, our money, and our votes to help them get elected. Many of these candidates say they are Christians and believe in basic Christian doctrines, and, thus, it is easy for one Christian to vote for another when we share the same political and spiritual views.

However, this year, many conservative Christians are focused on making President Obama a one-term president because of their disagreements with him on social policies (abortion, homosexuality, etc.) We as black conservative Christians are a part of that tribe. So far, according to the most recent polls, it looks like Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, has the best chance of doing that. There’s only one problem — he is a part of the Mormon cult.

Personally, I do not believe a Christian has any business voting for a Mormon to be president of the United States. America has always had presidents who claim to at least believe in the God of true Christianity who is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If the question is, “is a Mormon a Christian?” The answer is no. A Mormon is not a Christian because Mormonism denies essential Christian doctrines. In fact, Mormonism is a cult. Here are eight reasons why:

1. Mormons do not believe that the Bible is the truly inspired Word of God. Mormons believe that the Bible has been corrupted and they look to three other books for guidance: The Book of Mormons, The Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of the Great Price.

2. Mormons believe that God “has not always been the Supreme Being of the universe, but attained that status through righteous living and persistent effort.” They also believe that God has flesh and bones like man and that he is still gaining knowledge — he is not all-knowing. Brigham Young, the Mormon leader who led the Latter Day Saints to migrate to Utah actually believed that Adam was God and the father of Jesus Christ. This is blasphemy.

3. Mormons do not believe in the Virgin Birth. Instead, they say that Jesus Christ was born because of a physical relationship between God and Mary. This is blasphemy.

4. Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is a god, but that any human can also become a god. Futhermore, Mormons also believe that Jesus and Satan are “spirit brothers”. This is double blasphemy.

5. Mormons believe that God has many wives, and that Jesus Christ and Satan are two of his “spirit children.” This is triple blasphemy.

6. Mormons participate in baptism for the dead. Living Mormons can be “baptized” and “make a public profession of faith” for someone who has already died.

7. Mormons do not believe that salvation can be obtained only by faith through Jesus Christ. They believe that you must do good works to attain a place in the “celestial realm” — Heaven.

8. Mormons believe that blacks were descendants of Cain, and the mark that God placed on Cain was dark skin. Up until 1978, Blacks were prevented from being in the priesthood and receiving the “blessings of the temple” and they could not qualify for celestial exaltation (the highest realm of heaven). Brigham Young taught a much greater extreme. In a sermon given on March 8, 1863, Young stated, “Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so” (Journal of Discourses, 10:110). The third Latter Day Saints President, John Taylor also said that blacks were the devil’s representatives on earth.

Not only is this blasphemous, satanic doctrine, a man would have to be borderline insane to believe just one point of the last eight points I just mentioned. This disqualifies him from being the president of the Dog Catcher’s Association, much less the president of the United States of America.

5 Reasons Why We As Christians Cannot Vote for Mitt Romney:

1. Romney has flip-flopped on homosexual marriage.

2. Romney has flip-flopped on abortion.

3. Romney has flip-flopped on the government controlling healthcare.

4. Romney has flip-flopped on the adoption of children by homosexuals.

5. Romney has flip-flopped on protecting the Defense of Marriage Act.

Romney is a flip-flopping machine and we all know that you cannot call yourself a Christian when you lie and change your position for convenience sake.
Mitt Romney has flip-flopped on these important issues thinking that changing his positions for different groups is going to help him win. These social issues are very important to us as Christians and it is in our best interest not to put someone in the White House who clearly does not hold to our values. As a Christian, I know that God leads, guides, and directs nations and leaders who look to Him for help. The Bible says in Daniel 2:20-21, “…Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.” God will give wisdom to any leader who is wise enough to look to Him. And the one thing we need the most right now amidst the turmoil in our country and the world is the help that only God can provide.

Frankly, my friend, if Mitt Romney were elected, I would feel very uncomfortable with him in the White House, simply because I would not know who he was praying to if he prayed at all. He certainly, would not be praying to the same God I pray to. And the last thing our country needs is a president who does not have the sense to pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, others have stated that if Mitt Romney were elected as president, the Mormon religion would be given a sense of legitimacy in America — it would put the Church of Latter Day Saints in a good light. Mormon missionaries would be eager to use this opportunity to make Mormonism a main-stream denomination.

While I disagree with President Obama on many issues, especially his pushing of the homosexual agenda, at least he professes to be a brother in Christ, and he says he prays everyday. God can work on President Obama’s heart and lead him to change his views on social issues to line up with the Scriptures with everyone’s prayers including the prayers of Bob Jones III. We are disappointed that Bob Jones III would judge President Obama’s salvation when his grandfather, Bob Jones Sr., said many years ago, “A Christian is a person who, knowing he cannot save himself, relies upon Jesus Christ and His atoning blood for salvation.”

If Mitt Romney turns out to be the Republican nominee for president, we may just have to “hold our noses” and refuse to vote for anybody and accept the fact that this country has turned its back on the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – the God who made this country the most blessed and prosperous country in the history of the world. And watch for its sure destruction, for Romney or Obama would lead our country to total destruction.

If the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, Can Get Engaged for the Third Time, at 69, Surely, My Dear Christian Brother, Stedman Graham, Who Gave God So Much Wonderful Praise at Oprah’s Grand Finale, Can Propose to Oprah Publicly and Marry Her Publicly, and Set a Good Example for All People Who Look Up to Them.

Why my Southern Baptist brother, Stedman Graham, ought to make Oprah an honest woman and marry the princess of all media.

Stedman Graham, is the baddest playa-dawg of all time. Stedman Graham reminds me of the great-looking high school playa who had all the women wanting to be with him because he was light-skinned, had “good hair”, etc., and make no mistake about it, he played those women too, but he also had the most popular and smartest girl on a string and would not let her go so somebody else could have her because he knew how valuable she was – if for nothing else, to do his school work for him. As a grown man, this is exactly what Stedman Graham has been doing to our girl, the princess of all media, Oprah Winfrey.

Well, I am going to play John the Baptist to my Baptist brother, Stedman Graham, and say to him what John the Baptist said to Herod in the Bible: “It is not lawful for thee” to shack-up with the princess of all media and her two dogs. Two dogs, son, is enough. You make three. Three is a crowd. Yes, that is right, I am telling Stedman Graham, to make the princess of all media an honest woman by making her his queen, and marrying her. And if he is not willing to marry her, he needs to move his behind and his stuff out of her house. Son, you have been on this gravy train too long. Marry her or get out!

And by the way, nobody believes those lies Oprah is telling that she doesn’t want to get married to Stedman Graham. Stedman, you and I both know if you took Oprah to a nice restaurant, dropped down to one knee with a big shiny ring, after she got up from the floor because of fainting, she would burst out with tears of joy and say, “Yes, Yes, Yes, What took you so long?”

You are a Southern Baptist Christian and you know what you are doing is wrong. They taught you well in the church while you were growing up and at Hardin-Simmons University, a Christian-Southern Baptist university, which you graduated from.

Both of you are getting on up in age now. You need to stop acting like high school children, grow up, get married, and set the right example for the young people that you both claim to be so concerned about. All of your speeches to young people and all of the money you give to their causes is not going to help them change if you are not setting the right example by living what you are saying.

Go ahead, Stedman, show some class and do the right thing. “Put a ring on it.”

Zachery Tims

“…He that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.” –Proverbs 17:5

“…Let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth.” –Proverbs 24:17-18

“Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.” –Romans 14:4

To be informed of something regarding a brother or sister in Christ, such as a tragic death or calamity and its cause, is one thing. But to be eagerly anticipating more details about a situation like this indicates that you may not know what spirit you are of. As God’s people, if we are eagerly awaiting the “much anticipated” news about the death of Zachery Tims like the world is, we need to check ourselves and see if our hearts are right with God.

Here is why Zachery Tims’ toxicology results should not be highly ‘anticipated’ and is not really that important:

First, the man is dead! Leave it alone. Stop gawking and move on. It may be important to his family and his church for insurance purposes; but for you, take note and keep stepping.

Second, he is God’s servant and God did with him what He willed. And the truth is, even though you may think you know why, you really don’t. The Bible tells us in Romans 14:4, “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.” I am also reminded of what Jesus told Peter regarding John in John 21:20-23: “Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?”

Third, whatever God wanted to warn you of or teach you through this tragic situation, you should have it by now. If you don’t, read what J. Lee Grady wrote about this matter at this link. J. Lee Grady does not claim to be a prophet, but he is, and you, dear preacher, or whoever you are, will do well to listen to what he has to say. By the way, J. Lee Grady did not write that article titled “What We Must Learn From the Zachery Tims Tragedy” in a pharisaical spirit of gloating, condemnation, or ‘I told you so’. He wrote it out of a genuine heart of love and concern, and it needed to be written.

Fourth, the people of God should have a spirit of meekness, humility, and sorrow regarding a matter like this. We should not be condemning, judgmental, and pharisaical in our spirit. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 17:5, “He that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.”

Fifth, all pastors, church leaders, and Christians everywhere ought to have the attitude and spirit that says “but for the grace of God, there go I.” The truth of the matter is, no pastor, church leader, or individual Christian, including Billy Graham, T.D. Jakes, and Rick Warren, would be where they are today, if it had not been for the grace and mercy of God.

Sixth, most people have already concluded in their minds what happened in this situation. For example, most people have already concluded that God took Zachery Tims on home to Heaven because he refused to obey His commandments, so releasing the toxicology results probably will not change their minds.

So, when and if the toxicology results for Zachery Tims comes out, whether it is negative or positive, have the right heart and spirit about the matter, and let it go.

Boyce Watkins

Note: This Is a Response to the Article Below by Boyce Watkins Titled “T.D. Jakes Should Stop Defending Bishop Eddie Long”

Boyce Watkins has no proof whatsoever of T.D. Jakes defending Eddie Long. All T.D. Jakes has ever said regarding the Eddie Long situation is that “Christians should just pray” or that “Christians need to continue to pray for Eddie Long and the church.” By the way, this is basically all he said when his own son was caught up in a homosexual scandal. Therefore, T.D. Jakes has been consistent in his response to a fellow brother’s troubles or failures, even when it pertains to his own family. 

If praying for a brother in trouble regarding a situation where nobody knows whether anybody on either side did or didn’t do anything, and you yourself had nothing to do with it from the git-go, then the self-proclaimed “people’s scholar”, Boyce Watkins, has successfully redefined the word ‘Prayer’ to mean defending a brother in trouble. Wow!

The truth of the matter is, many in the Christian community thought T.D. Jakes didn’t help the brother enough.

Furthermore, if Boyce Watkins understood the Baptist Church, he would know that all Baptist churches are autonomous and handle their own business. Bishop Jakes or no one else can say anything that carries any weight about the direction of the church.

To Boyce Watkins and others, you are beating a dead horse. The Eddie Long situation is over. Accept it. Like many, you were probably looking for a long, drawn-out, ugly legal spectacle that you could gossip about all summer long, but thank God you are not getting that. I am sorry that you are disappointed.

By the way, aren’t you a great economist by trade? Well, with black unemployment hovering around 20% and unemployment among black men around 40%, why don’t you leave the church alone and get down to the White House and help your buddy, Barack Obama, get black folks some jobs. You are barking up the wrong tree because you don’t know what you’re talking about. Stay in your lane, son!

TD Jakes Should Stop Defending Bishop Eddie Long

Some have been waiting for Bishop T.D. Jakes to speak up on the scandal involving the other southern mega-pastor down the road, Bishop Eddie Long. Jakes recently commented on Long’s case, stating that Christians should simply pray for Long because they don’t have the right to do much of anything else.

Long was accused of sexual coercion by four young men in his care at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. A lawsuit was filed, which Bishop Long settled for an undisclosed amount of money. It was reported that Long paid $25 million for the settlement and has chosen to keep the details of the case quiet.

At The Potter’s House in Dallas, Jakes said “Christians should just pray,” for Long.

“When all this is over, one thing is for sure – somebody, if not everybody in it, is going to need the blood [of Jesus Christ].”

Not only does Jakes say that Christians should pray for Long, he says that they don’t have the authority to do anything else.

“We have no other authority but to pray,” he said. “The New Birth Church is a church unto itself who has a board and it has a membership. How they choose to handle their leadership issues is not something that we can control regardless of which side you stay on that issue. It is their issue and their responsibility and their response.”

Tracy Morgan, Sarah Palin, and Sodom

I find it amusing that Tracy Morgan can say that Sarah Palin, a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, former governor, vice-presidential candidate, and possible presidential candidate, is “masturbation material” on live television, in prime time, before millions of viewers, and hardly anybody says anything to him about that. And I don’t know of anyone who tried to get him to apologize to her husband, her, or her children for talking about her in such a gross way. 

But as soon as Tracy Morgan cracks a joke in a non-televised event about how he does not want his own son to come home talking about he is gay, how that God does not make mistakes when He makes a man a man and a woman a woman, and that homosexuality is a choice, his entire career and job are at stake. Tina Fey and others are forcing him to apologize to the homosexuals so that he won’t lose his job and so that they won’t lose ratings. My, my, my, what has happened to America? She has turned into the new Sodom and Gomorrah.

To all my Christian and non-Christian friends who believe that homosexuality is wrong, and who believe that God made marriage between one man and one woman, may I strongly encourage you to stand up, shout it from the roof tops, and stop letting these sodomites strike fear in you to not exercise your God-given and constitutional right of free speech. It is time to stand up and fight! Stop apologizing and stop caving to these lunatics.

And by the way, I don’t want my son coming home either speaking in an effeminate voice saying he is “gay” because I believe what the old folks used to say, “I brought your behind into this world and I will take your behind out.” Now sue me and try to make me apologize and see what you get. I double-dog dare you!

 Mr. President, I hate to say “I told you so,” but prophetically speaking, I repeatedly told you in my article “President Obama Is Smart, but Is He Wise?” that if you didn’t get some wisdom from God and recognize the invisible hand of God in the affairs of men, you were going to see the dismantling of your presidency, piece by piece. Well, sir, here we are, after many warnings and signs by God Himself (namely, the Gulf Oil Spill, the volcanoes that disrupted business in America and Europe, and the tragic unemployment rate), even after all you have done, you and your party have just received the worst midterm election repudiation of any president and his policies in modern history. Many people are also saying that you are certainly a one-term president, and that you will go down in history as a worse president than Jimmy Carter. And guess what, Mr. President, you and none of your staff can blame it on racism – and you better not try.

Mr. President, if you want to salvage your presidency and have a chance at getting re-elected in 2012, I strongly suggest you listen to me this time around. Here is what you must do:

1. You, your wife, and your staff need to pray together each morning for yourselves, for God’s wisdom, and for this country.

2. You need to get rid of your liberal pastor friends and replace them with Bible-based pastors and church leaders such as Tony Evans, Franklin Graham, David Jeremiah, T.D. Jakes, and Lon Solomon, who happens to be right there in Washington, DC with you. These preachers will honestly tell you what the Word of God says regarding the spiritual, moral, and social issues that we face in this country.

3. If you feel as though going to a local church is too much of a hassle, there are many ways you and your family can worship together nowadays. For example, Lon Solomon’s church, McLean Bible Church, which is near you, has an internet campus. You can gather your family and friends together in the residential portion of the White House, which will not violate the principle of separation of church and state, for an informal live church service with Pastor Lon Solomon and the McLean Bible Church. This is a very popular church in your area that has been and is home to many great political leaders. Plus, Lon Solomon has been invited to the White House many times before to speak with presidents, so they will not be in awe of you being a member. And anytime you need for him to come and minister to you personally, he will be glad to come. If you want a more black church experience for your family, T.D. Jakes has a similar live internet campus church service each Sunday.

4. Make peace with your former pastor and church, and apologize for any failures on your part in dealing with the situation over two years ago. For political reasons, you probably should not rejoin the church, but see if your former pastor and the current new pastor, Dr. Otis Moss III, might have a “word” for you, and see if they would give you their full blessings, lay hands on you, and pray over you. (And, by the way, please do not refer to the current pastor of Trinity United Church as a “young minister” again. That is disrespectful. Also, in case you forgot, you are a young man yourself). This will take humility on your part, but God will bless you for it. The situation with your former pastor and church home just did not end properly, and I believe this will haunt you until you make sure this is taken care of right. Because even though you and other people may have differences with Dr. Wright, he was your pastor for twenty years, and quite frankly, he is the only father figure that you know, and he can probably speak to your soul like nobody else can.

5. Through video conferencing, meet with, at least seven conservative, Bible-based pastors each Monday morning, and seek wisdom and advice regarding spiritual, moral and social issues and decisions. This is an area that you have messed up royally. The Bible says in Proverbs 11:14, “in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” If you want to meet with your liberal pastor friends, continue to do so, but I think you need to also definitely hear from your more conservative, Bible-based ministers on a regular basis as well.

6. Make a decision to fight for the following things, but let everything else go. And you should fight for these things only if they are core convictions that you hold, so that you won’t appear to be spineless, wishy-washy, and a person who does not have principles:

• Health care reform
• Banking and finance reform
• Education reform
• Solving the unemployment crisis
• Protecting America from another terror attack and concluding the war in Afghanistan responsibly

If you don’t at least fight for these things, you will appear to be a wishy-washy president. Reagan only stood for a few big principles, and people remember him as a great president.

7. Drop the following issues like hot potatoes:

• Trying to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”
• Being favorable to homosexual rights and homosexual marriage
• Supporting and funding abortion in any way, shape, form, or fashion
• Trying to raise taxes on the rich

If you continue to fight for these issues, the majority of the people in America will continue to forsake you. And, as you have seen in this election cycle, even though you have done more than any previous president for the homosexual community, they are still not satisfied with you and they have lost all respect for you as well. Obviously, you do not know this, but the more you try to appease the homosexual community, the more they are going to demand.

8. Take care of your base, but move to the center-right especially on social and moral issues. As Bill Clinton did after the midterm elections of 1994, when Republicans took back Congress, he was “able to mount a political comeback by abandoning his ambitious liberal goals”, as Philip Klein wrote in The American Spectator. Mr. President, in a democracy, you are placed in that position to serve the people, and if the people do not want something, you can’t do it. They have shown you what they don’t want, so don’t keep trying to do it.

9. Write another book delineating your ideas and vision for the future. This book should be an honest, open discussion of your true political views and goals for moving America forward in a positive direction. This will help the American people to regain confidence in your plans and vision for the future, if they line up with what the majority of the American people want.

10. Stop all unnecessary government spending. Here are some practical ideas:

• Ask all people to sacrifice and voluntarily give to their country by buying bonds, or through a voluntary tax to help pay down America’s debt.
• Focus like a laser beam on putting all unemployed people back to work by any means necessary.
• Consider raising minimum wage. By doing this, you will help to reduce the number of people who depend on government assistance and food stamps.
• Move the government towards paperless operations. Much of what the government does can be managed securely online (for example, government paychecks, medical records, tax forms., etc).
• Absolutely refuse to borrow anymore money from China. If the government does not have the money to pay for something, then the government should wait until it gets the money it needs.

In closing, Mr. President, the next two years could be the best years of your presidency, or you can do what you normally do, which is, become bitter, thin-skinned, touchy, and vindictive. You need to get a tougher hide and stop thinking that you are God’s gift to this country. Newsflash: You are not. You are just a man who is gifted by God, and who has voluntarily chosen to serve a people called Americans. Mr. President, my make up is such that I thrive off of opposition and off of people trying to stop me from doing something. I use opposition as jet fuel to accomplish great things that I probably would not accomplish if everyone who is against me was for me, patted me on the back, and told me how great I was. Mr. President, I suggest you find some of that “yes we can” spirit from somewhere and you will have a great two years and will probably win re-election in 2012.

P.S. Mr. President, if you don’t do what I have just encouraged you to do, I assure you that you will be a one-term president, you will be beaten by a landslide in 2012, and you will be seen, if not the worst president in history, certainly worse than Jimmy Carter. Mr. President, none of your friends are going to tell you this, but I have to tell you this because I love you and your family and I want to see you succeed as the first black president of the United States of America.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how the President apparently does not have the wisdom to understand the connection between the serious, unprecedented, uncontrollable events that frustrate him and his administration and thwart his plans and his weird determination to cram the homosexual lifestyle and homosexual marriage down the throats of Americans when most clearly do not want that.

We may be a bunch of adulterers and fornicators in this country, and this is wrong too, but a bunch of homosexuals, we are not. Mr. President, believe it or not, we love all people, including homosexuals, and we understand the legal freedoms in America allow a man to stick his penis anywhere he wants, with another consenting adult. But we understand also that we, the majority, non-homosexual sinners, have the right not to accept this abominable behaviour in our society, and we and you certainly have the right not to sanction this behaviour in our country because it goes against God’s Word as laid out in the Judeo-Christian Bible that you claim to believe in, and it also goes against the teachings in the Koran, which is in your faith background as well. But, not only that, Mr. President, you know and I know it goes against nature itself. Further, Mr. President, every president until you came along kept the homosexuals in the closet. Hell, even as crazy as Bill Clinton and George Bush were, they kept them in the closet as well. Now, God blesses you to be the first black president, and for some strange reason, you are hell-bent on trying to make homosexuality and homosexual marriage fully accepted in our society and now in the military. You know the last thing we need in the military is for morale to go to an all-time low because straight men and women will now have to deal with Steve and Steve trying to get their groove on on the top bunk. Mr. President, you have already broken some promises to others. You need to break some promises to these homosexuals as well. I say with John Lennon, “Let it be.”

All we are telling you, Mr. President, along with thousands of sinful men and women who are in the military, is that just like we sinners enjoy our sins of adultery and fornication without going out telling people what we did, the homosexuals can practice their abominable sins without ‘coming out of the closet’ to tell us what they did. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, because we don’t want to know.

Mr. President, stop pushing this homosexual agenda. Start praying, and get down to Louisiana to stop that oil leak – with all due respect, of course. I am telling you the truth because I love you, man. Things are going to get worse for you and your administration if you don’t cease this insanity. You cannot fight the “invisible hand” that I mentioned to you in the past and below. Sir, you are engaged in the worthy goal of trying to heal  this country’s economy, but, BOOM, out of nowhere, you have a volcano to the north of you that is preventing normal business transactions because people cannot fly back and forth, and there is no end in sight. And to the south of you, you have a violent, gushing fountain of oil coming up from the bottom of the sea that nobody knows how to stop, and that is not only a waste in itself, but it is destroying the economy of the states bordering the Gulf, and threatening to destroy the economy of the entire nation, as well as doing irreparable damage to the environment. The economy and the environment are two things that you vowed to heal and protect. Along with those things, to the east of you, you have the Greece and EU economy about to implode. And to the west of you, you have the North Korea and South Korea situation about to explode.

In light of these things, Mr. President, you need God on your side, not against you. And if you want God on your side, you need to repent of trying to make the government of the United States sanction homosexual marriage and thus sanction homosexual activity. Yes, homosexuals are free to do what they do because even God gives them a free will. But, you are also free to not have the government of these United States to sanction these abominations on your watch.

“…Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding” (Daniel 2:20-21).

“…the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will” (Daniel 4:32).

“…till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will” (Daniel 5:21).

The mark of a wise ruler, prime minister, king, or president is that he or she understands that there is an “Invisible hand” which rules this world, and that they, whether they are a believer in God or not, are placed in the position of leadership by God to do what He wants done in the earth. That leader must understand that God rules in the affairs of men. The governmental leaders who fail to recognize and obey this “invisible hand” will do so at their peril, no matter how smart and gifted they may be.

Like so many others in our world, I am impressed with the gifts that God has bestowed upon Barack Obama. It is true that President Obama is smart, shrewd, charming, and he knocks people dead with that million dollar smile. I often told my wife and children during the presidential campaign that he was probably going to win, if for no other reason, because of that great smile. Be that as it may, even though Barack Obama is apparently well-equipped for the job of President of the United States and the leader of the world, humanly speaking, he can have all of those gifts and abilities and not truly recognize or obey the “invisible hand” of God as it relates to our country, our world, our economy, and in the social realm. Recognizing and obeying this “invisible hand” is the true mark of a great leader. Right now, President Obama is showing himself to be smart, capable, and even presidential, but I am afraid he is not showing himself to be wise.

Let me show you what I mean using some examples from the Holy Scriptures:

1. Pharaoh was smart, built great works, and ruled a mighty empire, but when God said “Let my people go,” Pharaoh did not recognize the “invisible hand” of God, and he did not take heed to what the invisible, Almighty God was doing in his nation, thus bringing upon himself and his country devastating consequences.

2. Saul was a smart, tall, and good-looking king, but he did not recognize the “invisible hand” of God. While he thought he was doing good and that everything would work out alright, he was actually disobeying God’s direct commands, and thus he brought on himself, his family, and the nation devastating consequences.

3. King Nebuchadnezzar was smart, powerful, a great leader, and he knew about God’s power, but he ignored the “invisible hand” of God to his peril and was found eating grass like an animal to permanently help him to realize Who was truly in control.

4. King Belshazzar, just like his father, was smart and powerful, and he definitely knew about God’s power because he saw how God made his father eat grass like an animal. But he, too, chose to ignore the “invisible hand” of God, and thus brought on devastating consequences – his death and the overthrowing of his empire.

In President Obama, we apparently have another shining, charismatic, gifted, and smart governmental leader, who is very capable and shows great judgment in certain areas, but I am afraid he does not understand the glaring principle of the “invisible hand” of God. Like rulers of the past, either he does not truly recognize the “invisible hand” of God or he chooses to ignore the “invisible hand” of God as Nebuchadnezzar did. Either way, it will be devastating for this country, sometimes referred to as a shining “city on a hill,” if he does not begin to recognize, acknowledge, and obey the “invisible hand” of God. Let me show you why I say that. Notice with me what he has done in his first 100 days that says to me he is not allowing God to control his decisions:

1. On January 23, 2009, President Obama reversed the former president’s abortion funds policy and lifted the global abortion gag rule. This policy restored funds to the groups who kill millions of innocent babies each day across this country. Dr. Frank Page just said yesterday in a CBN report that “what is striking here is not only that he did such things, but that he did it so quickly.” In my opinion, this shows a gross lack of wisdom.
2. On March 9, 2009, President Obama overturned the former president’s policy on stem cell research. This decision allows federal taxpayer dollars to fund significantly broader research on embryonic stem cells.
3. On March 18, 2009, President Obama announced his support of the U.N. Declaration which supports homosexual marriage, just three months after the former president’s administration refused to endorse it. And little by little, homosexual marriage is being legalized. Whether Barack Obama knows homosexuality is against biblical principles or not, I do not know, but he certainly, personally believes that there is something wrong with it, because he said that he believes that marriage should be between a man and woman, at the Saddleback Civil Forum on the Presidency, when he was a candidate.
4. Even though this article is not really about the economic situation, anybody with common sense knows that you cannot spend and borrow your way out of debt. The Bible says very clearly that “The borrower is servant to the lender.” Unless the President and the rest of us are willing to learn Chinese and eat with chopsticks, we better stop this borrowing and spending real fast. It has never worked in the past and it never will work. Allow me to repeat a simple truth here that I have shared with many people in the past: if you had to borrow money to get it, you don’t own it; somebody else does.

These are all things that go against the eternal, moral, and biblical principles of God. Throughout history, we have seen time and time again, how that when governments, leaders of governments, and the people under these governments throw off of themselves the eternal laws and principles of God, the nation crumbles.

Sodom and Gomorrah crumbled because of homosexuality. Israel and Judah fell because of idolatry. Babylon was destroyed because of their disrespect of God. Rome destroyed itself because of greed and immorality. And remember, God destroyed the entire world because of sin during Noah’s time. God’s Word says, “Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Here’s What the President, Ministers, and You Need To Do

What President Obama needs to do to prevent God’s judgment against this country is repent and reverse these ungodly acts, by humbling himself before the Lord and rising above his personal feelings, politics, and popularity and do what is biblically and morally right. Not only does his Christian faith that he claims he has go against these things, but even his Muslim upbringing goes against these things. Because, even though he may think we are not a “Christian country,” we are certainly a country built upon the principles laid out in the Hebrew and Christian Bible. Even the Koran, which is a part of his life background, is against these things.

What God-honoring pastors and ministers need to do, and this includes the following: Joel Hunter, T.D. Jakes, Frank Page, and Kirbyjon Caldwell, is stop pussy-footing around with Obama, and as the prophets of old did, stand flat-footed, and “cry aloud and spare not,” and tell President Obama “Thus saith the Lord” and warn him that he is treading on dangerous ground, and if he does not reverse his ways, the “invisible hand” of God will begin to work against him. I perceive in Barack Obama to be a young man who not too many people have said “no” to down through the years. One of these men of God or a group of men of God ought to come to him and tell him, face-to-face and eyeball-to-eyeball, to reverse these things, get on a path that is compatible with the Scriptures, or we will cease advising you and the titanic will finish sinking.

What God-fearing Christians, such as you ought to do are the following three things:

1. Get right with God yourself. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

2. Pray for the president and his family. “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

3. “Pray without ceasing” for only God can help us now.
